Position - Data Warehouse Engineer

Three Rivers Technologies, the La Crosse areas leading software consulting firm, is seeking an associate to intermediate level database and software developer. We have an immediate need to help one of our major clients maintain their mission critical Oracle Data Warehouse. Our client is in need of an energetic focused person to be a long term member of their team that maintains, enhances, and supports their enterprise data warehouse.

Responsibilities And Duties Include

• Analyze customer's requirements and objectives
• Develop and design SQL script and data warehouse load changes
• Document and route designs for validation and approval
• Implement and validate changes
• Generate time and effort estimates for proposed solutions
• Interact with management and peers for input to technical aspects of projects
• Participate in periodic status checks to assess progress against plan
• Prepare status and time reports on project activities

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Database development and maintenance; SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, MS Access, etc.
• Software programming lanquages; C/C++, C#, JAVA, VB
• Software and database design

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, IS/MIS, or equivalent experience
• Proactive, energetic, self-starter
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A desire to learn and stay abreast of new technologies
• Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team environment
