Position - QA Analyst/Consultant

Purpose

Work as an individual technical consultant or consulting team member on client's solutions, enhancement, or integration projects.

Responsibilities And Duties Include

• Design, implement, and execute functional, integration, system test cases.
• Write Test Plans, cases, and scenarios for testing applications and software components
• Design, develop, and execute tests using test tools
• Design and develop automated test solutions
• Work closely with software development at all stages of Software Development Life Cycle

Credentials and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/MIS or related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Software development life cycle methodologies
• Familiarity with software testing principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer interface (people) skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving techniques
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of development languages (C++,VB) and object orientated programming
• Experience using test automation tools requiring scripting a plus; database design & testing preferred

• Some use of personal vehicle

Work Environment

Position requires on-site work at client locations with varied office environments.
